As well as having the 6m and 12m skeletal trailers, we also
offer the TOHF-TRACT, which is a retractable or sliding trailer.
What makes the TOHF-TRACT stand out above other skeletal
trailers is its versatility. When carrying a 6m container on a triaxle trailer,
the container is center mounted. This means that the container has to be
repositioned before it can be unloaded, requiring cranes or large forklifts.
With the TOHF-TRACT there is no need to go through this time consuming and
sometimes expensive exercise. The trailer can be taken directly to the
unloading destination with the container center mounted, and upon arrival the
trailer is retracted. This lines the back of the container up with the back of
the trailer, giving a loading bay direct access to the container for unloading.
With the TOHF-TRACT, there are no introduced delays: the container is delivered
directly to site, there is no need for cranes and forklifts incurring extra
costs, there is no need to drive with illegal load distribution, there is no
waiting, and there are faster turn-around times.
